Nature Cabins

Tucked away in the heart of Somerset, our cosy ensuite cabins are an escape into nature, and a chance to enjoy our natural farm.

You'll be staying on our natural farm, just a short walk from our farm caff. Treat yourself to a hearty breakfast or lunch made from our fresh and local ingredients.

As you explore the farm, check out our market garden to see where your food comes from, and don’t forget to meet our friendly pigs Percy, Clover and Pumpkin!

Though it feels like a world away, our cabins are only a 5-minute drive from Bruton and Castle Cary. There are plenty of scenic walks nearby and you can even take a wild dip in our lake.

Our cabins are all about relaxing, connecting to the land and experiencing the beauty of nature.

Details…

  • Sleeps 2-3 guests with a comfy double bed and a pull-out bed (on request). Towels are provided.

  • A kettle is provided for tea and coffee, plus welcome treats from the Higher Farm shop, you can enjoy breakfast and lunch at our restaurant Wed-Sun (charged additionally)

  • Heated cabins with electricity, charging ports and an ensuite bathroom with a skylight shower.

  • Private deck with outdoor seating and a wood burner — ideal for wildlife watching and enjoying the sunset.

  • There is no Wi-Fi, but there is a 4G signal, and there is Wi-Fi down at the farm buildings should you need it.

  • Dogs are allowed with an additional cleaning fee. Bring your dog's bed and towel.

  • We have two Nature Cabins at Higher Farm so you may have neighbours across the field. Book both cabins for a private experience with friends and family.

  • Nature Cabins are located at the top of Acres Hill so walking through our fields is required to access them - on arrival, we’ll take you up in a farm vehicle. This and the cabin size pose challenges for wheelchair users; please consider this if you have mobility concerns.

  • We strongly recommend bringing wellies, waterproof clothing and a torch for your stay. The farm can be muddy, especially during winter and heavy rainfall.
