Nature Cabins

Tucked away in the heart of Somerset, our cosy ensuite cabins are an escape into nature, and a chance to enjoy our natural farm.

You'll stay on our natural farm, just a short walk from the Farm Caff - our ‘table to farm’ restaurant serving lunch and dinner.

As you explore the farm, check out our market garden to see where your food comes from, visit our peaceful lake and don’t forget to meet our friendly chickens and pigs Clover and Pumpkin!

Though it feels like a world away, our cabins are only a 5-minute drive from Bruton and Castle Cary and a 40 min train from Bath. There are plenty of scenic walks nearby including the infamous Glastonbury Tor.

Our cabins are all about relaxing, connecting to the land and experiencing the beauty of nature.

Details

  • Sleeps 2-3 guests with a comfy king-sized bed and an optional pull-out bed (on request). Towels are included.

  • A kettle is provided for tea and coffee. The Farm Caff is open Wednesday to Sunday, we recommend booking a table as we can be busy.

  • Cabins are heated with electricity, charging ports and an ensuite featuring a skylight shower.

  • Private deck with outdoor seating and a wood burner — perfect for wildlife watching and sunsets.

  • No Wi-Fi in the cabins, 4G signal is available. Wi-Fi is accessible at the Farm Caff.

  • Dogs are welcome with an additional cleaning fee. Please bring your dog's bed and towels. Owners are responsible for any damages.

  • There are two Nature Cabins at Higher Farm, so you may have neighbours across the field. Book both for a private stay with family or friends.

Accessibility

  • The cabins are located at the top of Acres Hill, requiring a walk through the fields to access.

  • Car access is available April to October. See below for details on Winter Stays.

  • Due to access and cabin size, the cabins may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues, but we are working to improve accessibility.

Winter Stays: December to March

  • During these months, the cabin isn’t accessible by car, so you’ll need to walk 8-10 minutes uphill from the car park. Bring wellies, waterproofs, a torch and luggage you can carry.

  • Before booking, please consider if this rural winter stay is right for you. It’s perfect for those searching for frosty mornings, wildlife watching, peaceful landscapes and cosy cabin vibes.

  • "So nice and clean there. The owner was lovely and was just a phonecall away. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Not too far from Glastonbury too so we enjoyed our days there and the night in the cabin was amazing"

  • "Was great - such a cute cabin and with the heater it gets really warm! The Farm Caff was great and staff very friendly, feels like a long way from the cabin so you are still secluded."
